- What were you like as a child?
“When I was young, I was a little introverted. I was a quiet child who lived in a world of his own. I was only friends with the people I thought I could get along with. - Your personality must have changed a lot as you grew up.
“I think that’s true. I had a friend in high school who was really funny. He was as funny as a comedian; a day didn’t go by when I wasn’t laughing. Laughing every day made me a more happy and outgoing person.”
- What about your studies?
“When I was younger, I didn’t like studying very much. I don’t think I’ve done much studying since elementary school.”
- What was your dream job back then?
“When I was younger, TVXQ was extremely popular. So I used to want to become an idol singer. Should I say that I dreamed of becoming TVXQ? (laughter)”
- Who was your favorite member?
“I liked Max Changmin the most. He’s tall and good looking. Like a model. He’s the most amazing member out of TVXQ. I must have subconsciously liked people who look like models from a young age.”
- Did Max Changmin influence you in becoming a model?
“Because I liked Max Changmin, I wanted to be as tall as him. Every night, I’d stretch 30 minutes before going to bed, and I always went to bed before 10 o’clock. I used to be quite short, but thanks to that, I grew 10cms every year since middle school and now I’m over 180cm.”
